That’s why we’ve started the above fundraising page to raise money for an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for our association. Mrs Brown’s Boys’/FAI are supporting us with an initial donation of €1250, and our target is to also raise €1250.

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a sophisticated, life saving device that can help save the life of someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. They are easy to use and portable, with clear step-by-step instructions.

When applied, an AED automatically checks the heart’s rhythm. If it recognises a life-threatening rhythm, the AED enables the user to deliver a shock to the heart which will allow it to return to beating normally. If a life-threatening rhythm is not detected, the AED will not permit a shock to be delivered.

The Munster Football Association would be delighted with any support that you can offer us for this valuable piece of equipment.

Thank you for your support.
